UK Clinical Neuropsychology
About
About
UK Clinical Neuropsychology provides the full range of Clinical Neuropsychology services to adults who have experienced brain injuries, and their family members and carers. We have experience working with a range of neurological conditions including acquired brain injuries (e.g., traumatic brain injury, stroke, and encephalitis), and degenerative conditions (e.g., multiple sclerosis and dementia). We also have experience of working with congenital disorders (e.g. cerebral palsy) and health problems (e.g., chronic pain and fatigue).
We have diversity in experience with some having international knowledge and experience gained from working abroad in Australia and with pioneers and experts in the fields of both Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology. Our unique skill mix ensures that we are particularly well equipped for managing complex cases. We also have specialist expertise in applying the Gottman method to managing relationship difficulties after brain injury, and in assessing autism.
We receive instructions primarily from Case Managers, Solicitors and privately funding individuals, and the majority of work is completed in a medicolegal context. Neuropsychological support is primarily provided in Yorkshire, the North East, North West and East Midlands, though referrals from other regions of the UK may be considered.
